Firstly, I am motivated by my work with clients. You have got so much to contribute, and you can play a bigger part in helping solve key issues that we face in the world today. Especially now, at this time in our human history – with so many global problems to resolve, climate change not least among them.
My current and recent clients include leaders in sustainability, culture, and supporting homelessness, for example. I also support other women in STEM and HR Leaders addressing, equity and inclusion, leadership development and so on.
Often these individuals are very senior themselves. I witness leaders at every level limiting themselves, because of their own self-doubt and lack of self-belief. They weren’t even aware of it.
I help them value themselves and what they do – so that they can get on and do what they want to be doing.
Here are a few recent examples from my work with clients: Who I help
Secondly, I am motivated by the desire to share what I have learned on my own personal journey.
I have struggled to value myself and to believe in myself and I want to help people who have suffered like I did.
There is more about my own journey over here.
I am inspired by the quote from Krishnamurti ‘You can only learn if you do not know.’
Therefore I aim to work from this place of starting freshly, over and over. My aim is to start on empty and stay curious and willing to learn and grow. I want to bring this to my own work, and to support this beginner mindset in my work with clients.
If I am not honouring of myself – how can I bring myself to my work with my clients? At a deeper level, my work with clients is actually about honouring them for who they are. I aim to honour them and what they bring. I aim to support them get where they want to get to , and to honour them in their journey and their purpose.
As humans we are complex beings, we have many different wants and needs. We have many different parts that can compete for our attention. Authenticity and ‘being real’ is important but to be truly authentic in any given moment we need to acknowledge the complexity of it. I want to attract clients who want to become more the real version of themselves – as do I . Authenticity isn’t an end point in itself , because we can always be more deeply authentic. Acknowledging complexity helps us get there.
I do this in a couple of ways: I donate 5% of my net profit to causes that I believe are doing important work in the world
The causes I support are varied and include: Environmental, refugees, women’s right’s and education, among others.

I also offer subsidised coaching sessions to some clients in financial need. This is not a fixed percentage but based on my capacity and the number of clients who pay in full.
